Release process

A calm path from baseline to readout

Our custom process keeps release performance analytics practical: few metrics, clear ownership, and a shared story after every meaningful ship.

Team collaborating in a bright office
  1. Frame the ship

We name the intended outcome, the journeys that should move, and the quality floors that must hold. Success is written before deploy.

  2. Capture the baseline

Application analytics for the prior window are saved against the release tag—volume, funnels, and stability—so post-ship charts have a fair comparison.

  3. Watch the first days

Adoption curves, error signatures, and support notes are reviewed by version cohort. Noise is separated from signals that deserve action.

  4. Hold the readout

A short session for product, engineering, and support. Same evidence, same narrative, agreed next steps—or an explicit decision to hold.

  5. Carry the learning

Open questions become experiment candidates or monitoring watchlist items for the next release train.
