Refund and cancellation policy
How deposits, cancellations, and refunds work for Apienginebase engagements.
Eligibility
Refunds apply to fees paid for scheduled engagements such as Mobile App Performance Audits, Launch Readiness Checks, Crash & Stability Reviews, and Monitoring Continuity retainers. Website browsing is free and has no refundable charge.
Timeframe to request
Send refund or cancellation requests in writing to hello@apienginebase.digital as soon as you know a change is needed, and no later than seven calendar days after the triggering event (cancellation, missed kickoff, or delivery dispute).
Full refund
A full refund of amounts paid is available when you cancel more than ten business days before the agreed measurement start date and we have not begun device setup or analysis using your builds.
Partial refund
Cancellations between three and ten business days before start may receive a 50% refund of the deposit or prepaid fee, reflecting reserved lab time. Continuity retainers cancelled mid-month may receive a pro-rated credit for unused full weeks remaining, if no review call in that week has occurred.
Non-refundable items
- Fees for work already delivered (completed findings packs or completed monthly reviews)
- Rush premiums for engagements accepted inside five business days of a store cut-off
- Third-party device courier costs already incurred at your request
- No-shows for scheduled readout calls without 24 hours’ notice (the engagement fee remains due; a reschedule may be offered at our discretion)
Work already started
Once measurement week begins or crash analysis is underway, fees cover time spent. Unused later stages may be credited toward a follow-up engagement within three months rather than refunded in cash, unless we are unable to complete the work for reasons under our control.
Rescheduling
One reschedule with at least five business days’ notice is complimentary, subject to lab availability. Further reschedules may require a rebooking fee of 10% of the engagement fee.
Deposits
Deposits reserve calendar slots. They convert to progress payments when work starts and follow the refund rules above if you cancel.
Refund process and timing
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within fourteen business days after written approval. Bank transfer refunds within Thailand may require your account details confirmation.
